Still master of his domain and rich enough to probably put a down payment on yours, too, the former sitcom star and observational comedian comes to Akron. Often when a big-time comedian plays smaller theaters in a smaller town, it means they’re working out new material.

Longtime local favorites still going at it 35-plus years in. Their most recent album, the David Thomas (Pere Ubu)-produced The Inward City from 2009, is pretty darn good.
