The Chapel (in Oakwood Cemetery) will be open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The Veterans Memorial Book will be open for those Veterans buried in the cemetery; and the beautiful stained glass windows on display. We will have light refreshments and an early look at the brand new Cat’s Meow figurine of the Chapel for sale honoring our city's bicentennial this year, as well as, the Chapel note cards. The Chapel is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization and has created a Memorial/Tribute Fund which will support the restoration of the 1898 stained glass windows; at least one of which is a Tiffany stained glass window. The windows are in desperate need of restoration and the Ladies will be fundraising for them this year. Please come before, after or during the parade and enjoy a little treasure of Cuyahoga Falls history. The Cuyahoga Falls Library will also have a display table of the Chapel memorabilia during the month of May near the meeting rooms on the lower level.
