Celebrating one year: Lincoln Elementary students describe what they love about Cuyahoga Falls

Keeping with the schools theme, we asked some students at Lincoln Elementary School about what they love about the city.

A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Hilkert's third grade class, Mrs. Terlonge's third grade class, Mrs. Lee's fourth-grade class, Mrs. Timmer's fourth grade class, Mrs. VanHouten's fourth-grade class, Mrs. Zelenka's fourth-grade class, Mrs. Elbon's fifth-grade class and Mrs. Jensen's fifth-grade class for participating.

“What I love about Cuyahoga Falls is, the family activities that the city has!” Ava, grade 3.

“My favorite place in Cuyahoga Falls is the Natatorium. Both children, and adults, can work out there and swim in the big pool!” Ava, grade 3.

“Ice skating is so much fun in Cuyahoga Falls! The rink is so nice and you can practice getting better.” Silas, grade 3.

“My favorite thing about Cuyahoga Falls is Water Works. I really like how they provide great foods there!” Ariel, grade 3.

“I love to rock on the river in the summer and ice skate in the winter! I get to hang out with my friends and eat great food!” Alina, grade 3.

“Cuyahoga Falls is a great place to live because, every summer my mother and I go to Water Works and sometimes stay until dinner!” Sydni, grade 4.

“Cuyahoga Falls is a good place for pets, and they have a lot of parks like Linden, Hons and much more.” Kassie, grade 4.

“Cuyahoga Falls is fun for everybody, big and small! It is super safe because of our wonderful policemen and firemen. Rocking on the River is so cool!” Izabella, grade 4.

“My favorite thing to do in Cuyahoga Falls is, having campouts and barbeques. I like to spend time with my family, swimming, and riding my bike. I also have an awesome teacher!” Julie, grade 4.

“What I like about Cuyahoga Falls is, Strickland’s. They have good rainbow sherbert and peanut butter cup ice cream!” Sabrina, grade 4.

“I love to go to Water Works because, it’s a lot of fun and my friends are always there. I also love to go to Newberry Park and go sledding!” Billy, grade 5.

“My favorite thing about Cuyahoga Falls is the Oktoberfest! It is my favorite celebration at the Riverfront.” Kathryn, grade 5.

“My favorite thing to do in Cuyahoga Falls is to visit the duck pond behind Water Works and feed them bread!” Koby, grade 5.

“My favorite thing to do in Cuyahoga Falls is going to the Natatorium. I take swimming classes and my friends take karate classes.” Kelli, grade 5.

“During the winter, me and my friends have a cold tradition that, we go ice skating and have fun!” Julia, grade 5.
