The museum has many artifacts, including memorabilia from early area schools, restaurants and shopping areas, as well as information regarding early amusement parks, founding families and area landmarks.
Whether you’re interested in local history, looking for new places to take out-of-town visitors or want to keep your children engaged in learning activities over the summer vacation, a visit to the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society museum is highly recommended. Admission is free.
The museum is conveniently located one-half block off of E. Portage Trail. To reach the museum, travel east on Portage Trail and cross Munroe Falls Avenue/Newberry. Continue traveling east on Portage Trail. Cook Street will be the third street on the right. Turn right on Cook Street and drive approximately half a block.
