A High Street boy, 17, was charged with domestic violence Dec. 14 after he allegedly punched his mother in the face.

Aggravated menacing

Ad Mogadore woman, 38, reported Dec. 12 that a man in another car threatened to shoot her as she drove on Portage Trail at 13th Street.


Jewelry valued at $57,000 was stolen Dec. 17 from a home in the 100 block of Grant Drive.

Public indecency

An employee of Walgreens, 2645 State Road, reported Dec. 16 that a man exposed his genitals to her.



An unknown woman lied to Buckle associates Dec. 17 in order to a get gift card for $135. She picked up a pair of jeans in the store, claimed they were hers, and tried to return them. Associates later noticed her on security cameras place the jeans in a shopping bag. They eventually canceled the gift card.


An Akron boy, 16, was charged with theft Dec. 16 after he allegedly stole $98 worth of clothes from Macy's and Zumiez.

A Tallmadge woman, 22, was charged with theft Dec. 16 after she allegedly stole $118 worth of clothes from Macy's.

A Cuyahoga Falls woman, 19, was charged with theft Dec. 16 after she allegedly stole $255 worth of merchandise for Macy's. Store associates said they noticed her enter the fitting rooms with merchandise and exit with none.

An Akron man, 29, was charged with theft Dec. 15 after he allegedly stole a $95 bottle of men's cologne.

Domestic violence

A Lenox Village Drive man, 48, was arrested on domestic violence and drug charges Dec. 15. Police said he threatened his wife with a knife and assaulted his daughter. A marijuana pipe was found during a search, police said.
