Gordon Griffiths, president of the Cuyahoga Falls Schools Foundation, is looking to make renovations to Clifford Stadium a reality by asking the school board to loan the foundation $30,000 to do so, according to Falls News Press.
Last week Griffiths asked the board to loan the money for the first phrase of the stadium redesign: Revamping the entryway that will be named "Tiger Trail."
The four-phase project is estimated to cost $150,000. The first phrase will cost $70,000. The foundation has raised $40,000 of it through Athletic Boosters, PTA, The Alumni Band and other organizations.
The board said they would discuss the request at a future meeting.
