Receiving GSNEO Awards for taking part in a councilwide assignment were Marie Cooley, Faye Goode Joan Greenberg, Jennifer Teffner, Willa Keith and Amy McManus, all of Akron; Barbara Miller of Kent; Dr. Anne Schoeffler of Northfield; Carrie Srail of Brunswick; Cindy Tschudy and Alia Williams, both of Tallmadge; and Amy Young of Wadsworth. Vickie Ayers of Akron and Diana Simms of Cuyahoga Falls received Honor Pins for providing service to two or more geographic areas or program delivery audiences.
Education
Two Akron-area students were inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society at Marietta College. Bethany McFarland of Cuyahoga Falls studied public accounting and Emma Vierheller of Orrville, political science and math, before graduating this spring.
