CUYAHOGA FALLS: City Council on Monday passed a resolution urging voters to pass a 6.83-mill levy for Woodridge Local Schools on Nov. 6.

Councilman Terry Mader and Mayor Don Robart sponsored the resolution.

Mader praised the school's recent "excellent with distinction" award by the state.

Woodridge Superintendent Walter Davis said he would like to continue getting those ratings.

"If we continue to cut staff and programs, we won't be able to sustain high ratings," he said.
