Falls River Square will host some icy fun at the Frozen River Festival this weekend

CUYAHOGA FALLS:  Winter fun is on the schedule for this weekend's Cuyahoga Falls Frozen River Festival, sponsored by the Gardens of Western Reserve Assisted Living Residence.

The cold weather festival starts at 6 p.m. Friday until 9 p.m.  Saturday hours are 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Falls River Square.

An ice skating show is on the schedule for Saturday, and an ice sculpting competition will be held Sunday.

Throughout the weekend, there will be ice skating and beer, wine, food and other vendors inside the Pavilion.
