Falls police arrest man on allegation of sexually assaulting a child

CUYAHOGA FALLS: A Streetsboro man has been arrested by Cuyahoga Falls police on allegations that he sexually assaulted a child.

Richard James Frederick Jr., 24, was taken into custody Friday and was being held in the Summit County Jail on charges of rape and gross sexual imposition. Police said the child was under 13 years of age.

Cuyahoga Falls police announced his arrest Saturday. No other details were released.

Online court records do not reflect a bond or an attorney of record for Frederick.
