Milling and resurfacing will reduce Interstate 76/U.S. 224 to one eastbound lane from Wooster Road (state Route 619) to the Kenmore leg from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly beginning tonight.
The work is part of a $16.6 million project to resurface Interstate 277, I-76 and U.S. 224 from the Kenmore leg to Interstate 77 and continuing on U.S. 224 to just east of Kelly Avenue.
Bridge work also will be conducted on 18 structures.
The entire project is scheduled for completion in August 2013.
The Interstate 76 eastbound exit ramp to the Kenmore leg will be closed from 9 p.m. today through 5 a.m. Wednesday for resurfacing, the Ohio Department of Transportation said.
Motorists are urged to use Interstate 277 and Interstate 77 as an alternative route to continue on I-76.
The entrance ramp from Wooster Road to I-76 eastbound also will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. today and Wednesday.
