Arrest
A Ruth Avenue man, 19, was charged June 3 with trafficking marijuana, possession of drugs and possession of an open container of alcohol. Police reported finding the man on Silver Lake Avenue at Seventh Street, intoxicated and drinking beer. Police said he had 10 wrapped bags of marijuana in his possession.
A Cuyahoga Falls man, 32, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs June 4 after police reported finding 56 bath-salt tablets.
A Second Street woman, 37, was charged with felony drug possession June 6.
Burglaries
Someone broke into a home May 31 in the 2400 block of 25th Street and stole a small amount of cash.
A video game system was reported stolen June 4 at a home in the 200 block of Pierce Avenue.
Someone broke into a home June 2 in the 500 block of Lynn Drive and stole jewelry and a bag of 50 quarters.
Forgery
A Morrison Avenue man reported May 31 that someone stole a check, forged signatures and cashed it for $120.
Identity theft
A Sedro Street woman told police June 2 that someone used her personal information to open a credit card account.
Harassment
A woman reported June 6 that her son, 13, received four threatening calls on his cell phone.
Thefts
A woman told police June 2 that someone stole $8,400 in jewelry from an apartment on Winter Parkway.
A security manager for a Buchholzer Boulevard store reported June 5 that two women stole a 40-inch television and six boxes of mozzarella cheese.
A 10th Street man told police June 4 that someone used his credit card number to run up a $500 bill.
A woman reported June 3 that someone stole $2,000 from her purse at a Howe Avenue restaurant.
