Falls City Council will decide next week whether to allow the demolition of a vacant home in the 800 block of Shannon Avenue.

Falls engineer Tony Demasi told Council that the home has been severely neglected.

He could not say whether there was structural damage because of the amount of debris inside the home.

The owner of the property -- who lives in Florida - has been given more than a year to repair or demolish the structure.

If Council votes Monday to have the home demolished, the cost will be billed to the owner.
