Arrest

A former Toys R Us employee, 21, was charged with theft July 18 after he allegedly took cash and video games from the store at 590 Howe Ave.

Breaking and entering

Someone broke into an office July 23 in the 1000 block of Graham Road Circle, but it was not known if anything was taken.

Someone broke into a business July 24 in the 1300 block of Main Street and stole two computers.

Someone tried to break into Toys R Us, 590 Howe Ave., by cutting a hole in the roof July 23.

Counterfeiting

An employee of Giant Eagle, 125 Graham Road, told police that a man entered GetGo and tried to purchase a pack of cigarettes with play money. When the clerk called for a manager, the man fled.

Domestic violence

A woman told police July 19 that a man threatened to hit her and her child, 12.

Forgery

A Curtis Avenue man told police July 25 that someone stole a check from his home, forged it and cashed it for $40 at a local bank.

Misuse of debit card

A Searl Street woman told police July 23 that someone used her debit card to make more than $400 in unauthorized online purchases.

Thefts

A shotgun was stolen from a home in the 1700 block of 19th Street.

Two wagon wheels were stolen July 15-18 from a wagon in a barn in the 800 block of West Bath Road.
