Cuyahoga Falls: Police blotter for May 6

Arrests

A Chart Road man, 22, was charged with inducing panic May 3. Officers were sent to his home because the man was threatening to shoot himself. Paramedics treated him for a cut on his arm. Police confiscated several guns, knives and ammunition from the home.

Harassment

A 21st Street woman told police April 30 that her ex-boyfriend called and threatened to kill her and their baby.

Burglary

Someone broke into a home April 29 in the 500 block of Loomis Avenue and stole a flat-screen television.

Thefts

Copper pipes valued at $2,000 were reported stolen April 29 from a vacant house in the 700 block of West Bath Road.

An employee of Sheraton Suites, 1989 Front St., told police May 2 that she found a man in a walk-in cooler trying to steal alcohol from a locked cage. The man fled.

An Almeda Avenue woman told police May 1 that someone stole $3,200 in jewelry from her home in April.
