Arrests

An Akron man, 20, was charged April 25 with aggravated menacing after he allegedly used a knife to threaten a Pleasant Meadows Boulevard man, 50.

An Akron woman, 20, was charged with drug trafficking April 23 after she allegedly sold a prescription drug in a State Road parking lot.

Three men and two women were charged with having an open container of alcohol April 22. One woman was charged with possession of marijuana.

Burglary

Someone broke into a home April 24 in the 3800 block of Wyoga Lake Road and stole nearly $300.

False report

Police were investigating a false report of an overdose that a man made April 21.

Identity theft

An Adams Avenue woman reported April 24 that someone tried to use her banking information to make a $777 online purchase. The fraud was caught before the items were shipped.

Burglary

A Second Street woman reported April 21 that a man she knows entered her apartment without permission while she was asleep. She told police that she suspects he had a key made.

Thefts

An Eighth Street woman, 39, reported April 25 that a member of her household stole her debit card and made an unauthorized withdrawal.

Police learned April 18 that someone stole $1,000 from an Akron-Peninsula Road credit union March 19-23.
