A Winter Parkway man, 45, was charged with domestic violence Sept. 20 after he allegedly hit his son, 16, in the face.
A Victoria Street man, 39, was charged with domestic violence Sept. 23 after he allegedly punched the mother of his children and threatened to kill her with a knife.
Burglary
Someone broke into a home Sept. 20 in the 2400 block of Second Street and stole electronics and jewelry.
Someone broke into a home Sept. 25 in the 2600 block of Fairland Street and stole $2,500 in items.
Identity theft
A Cuyahoga Falls man, 54, told police Sept. 24 that someone used his identity to open three credit-card accounts and make $3,300 in illegal transactions.
A Cuyahoga Falls woman told police Sept. 24 that her 97-year-old mother's identity was used to open credit and utility accounts in Florida.
Theft
A Smokerise Drive man reported Sept. 26 that his 12-year-old daughter stole $2,200 from an envelope in the basement. He recovered $1,600.
Eight tires and wheels, total value more than $8,000, were taken from a State Road car lot Sept. 27.
Someone stole a car Sept. 23 from the 1000 block of Clyde Avenue while the driver left it running.
Vandalism
Vandals destroyed sinks Sept. 23 in the rest rooms at Kennedy Park, 2100 Issaquah St., causing water to shoot upward, soaking the ceiling. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
