“They say to pay it forward. I hope I can,” is how Leigh Ann Combs introduced her offer.
“I have been thinking for almost a year about what to do with my mom’s [power] chair. She passed in 2009. Then my dad used it. He died in 2010.
“Do you know of a person who truly needs a chair? I would love for it to go to someone in need.”
Combs described the power chair as a Jazzy 1103 Ultra for which she still has the owner’s guide. It is being given in memory of her parents Edwin and Barbara Caraway, who resided in Arizona the last 18 years of their lives. They had previously lived 36 years in Cuyahoga Falls.
Interested and deserving candidates are asked to send a brief paragraph explaining his or her need to me as soon as possible.
