Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will make a campaign stop in Cuyahoga Falls on Tuesday night, Mayor Don Robart confirmed Friday.

The rally is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. outside the Natatorium. The Natatorium will be closed Tuesday because of the event.

Romney will be accompanied by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Further details were not immediately available.

“It will be an exciting time for Cuyahoga Falls,” Robart said.

Romney isn’t the first Republican presidential candidate to make a campaign stop outside the Natatorium. President George W. Bush visited in October 2004.
