Silver Lake Village Council is seeking interested applicants for the District D seat.
Current Council member Janie Geis will resign from the post June 1, according to the Falls News Press.
Applicants should send inquiries and resumes by May 18 to Council President Gerald Jones at Village Hall, 2961 Kent Road, Silver Lake 44224.
Village Solicitor Bob Heydorn told Falls News Press that Council has one month from Geis' departure to fill the seat. Mayor Bernie Hovey will take the position if Council is unable to find someone.
