Tour of historic homes joins bicentennial celebration

CUYAHOGA FALLS: Nine historic homes will welcome visitors for tours Aug. 4 as part of the Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial celebration.

The tours are hosted by the Bicentennial history and legacy committee and include many century homes. Cost is $10 for advance purchases and $15 the day of the tour.
 
The tour will begin at 10 a.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society, 2083 Cook Road, where ticket holders will receive a program book. 
 
The homes will remain open until 4 p.m. The tour concludes with an ice cream social at the newly restored Keyser Barn.
 
Tickets can be purchased at Acme #10, 2226 State Road, or Acme Fresh Market, 2640 Bailey Road.
 
Children under the age of 12 will not be permitted in the houses. Also prohibited on the tour are food, pets and cameras.
