COLUMBUS: The Ohio Department of Transportation will receive federal money to help complete a State Road project in Cuyahoga Falls and build a visitor wayside along the Heritage Corridors of Bath Byway in Bath Township.
The Federal Highway Administration granted $1.135 million to help improve 2.32 miles of State Road and $150,608 to build the byway stop.
“Ohio motorists, residents, and businesses deserve an efficient, safe highway system that also allows them to stop and enjoy all our state has to offer,” U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Avon Lake, said in announcing the grants. “These new resources will help Summit County make the repairs needed to encourage Ohioans — and visitors — to travel on our roads.”
