CUYAHOGA FALLS: City Council on Monday voted to allow volunteer reserve officers to write parking tickets.

Interim Police Chief Jack Davis said the program should be up and running in February, after the reserve officers are trained.

Once trained, the officers will begin working during snow bans, leaving sworn officers to attend to more serious calls.
