St. Joseph School student wins Child & Family Awareness Month Creative Contest

AKRON: Summit County Children Services has announced the winners of the 2012 Child & Family Awareness Month Creative Contests.
Students were was asked to create an artistic piece honoring the concept of family. All winning entries are on display throughout April at the Akron Art Museum.
The grand prize winner of the Elementary School Poster/Slogan Contest was Brianna Frank, a fifth-grader at Erwine Intermediate School in Coventry Township. The winning slogan was “A Family is Timeless” and will be used on all promotional materials for the 2013 awareness month.
The first-place winner of the Pre-Kindergarten Collage Contest was Nova Ortegus, 4, of the ASCA Calico Head Start & Child Development Center in Akron.
The winner of the Middle School Storybook Contest was Abby Kushner Benson, a fifth-grader at Our Lady of the Elms School in Akron.
The winner of the Middle School Public Service Announcement was Anna Lambert, an eighth-grader at St. Joseph School in Cuyahoga Falls.
The winner of the High School Essay Contest was George Moresea, an 11th-grader at Green High School.
The winner of the High School Poetry Contest was Ryan Kramanak, an 11th-grader at Green High School.
